On the occasion of International Day against Drug Abuse on June 26, to aware people of the harmful effects of drugs and why early diagnosis of diseases is important, Udit Kunj Foundation in association with Gayatri Rural Development Society organised a free medical camp at Gayatri Public School, Sulakhni.
A team of Doctors from RML Safdarjung Hospital visited the free medical camp. Apart from free medical checkups, free medicines were also distributed to the needy. The medical camp started at 9 AM and was open to all age groups.
According to Kulbir Singh, President of the Udit Kunj Foundation, the main motto to hold a free medical camp is to make aware of society early diagnosis of some common health issues and to provide free medicines to poor people.
He further added, “Also, International day against Drug abuse i.e. June 26 is a special day for our organization as we are fighting against drug addiction for many years and recently we have launched Aagaaz- Anti Drug Yatra in Haryana to make the state Drug free.
