Udit Kunj foundation’s Anti Drug Yatra Aagaaz will be reaching village Gogriya in Jind on May 3 to aware villagers and youth on why it is important to live a drug-free life.
Udit Kunj Foundation, one of the best NGOs in India, recently launched its Anti-drug Yatra Aagaaz on March 27 at Kaithal. The anti-drug yatra is marching in various cities and villages of Haryana to spread awareness of drug addiction.
According to Kulbir Singh, President, of Udit Kunj Foundation, the main aim of the Aagaaz is to make Haryana drug-free.
What is Drug Addiction?
Addiction is defined as a fact or condition of being addicted to a particular substance or activity. It is considered a brain disorder because it involves a functional change in brain circuits that involved stress, self-control, and reward.
Addiction is similar to other diseases, like heart disease. Disrupt the healthy functioning of an organ in the body, and have serious harmful effects in many cases, some are treatable and preventable. But If left untreated, it can lead to a lifetime and may cause death.
