Udit Kunj foundation’s anti-drug Yatra to reach Narwana on June 9

In its attempt of spreading awareness in every nook and corner of Haryana, Udit Kunj foundation’s Anti Drug Yatra Aagaaz will be reaching the city of Narwana on June 9. The NGO in Haryana started its Aagaaz- anti-drug yatra on March 27 from Kaithal and till now has covered different villages of the state. Its main motto is to aware villagers and youth why it is important to live a drug-free life.

Today’s youth is very much indulged in drugs and to fulfil their daily need of this, they do other crimes also. The crime rate will reduce only when the root cause, i.e. drug addiction would weed out. That’s why, to make aware of drug addiction, the anti-drug Yatra will reach Navdeep stadium, Narwana at 5 PM.

The Yatra will be held under the aegis of NGO President, Kulbir Singh.  According to Kulbir Singh, President, of Udit Kunj Foundation, the main aim of the Aagaaz is to make Haryana drug-free.

What is Drug Addiction?

Addiction is defined as a fact or condition of being addicted to a particular substance or activity. It is considered a brain disorder because it involves a functional change in brain circuits that involved stress, self-control, and reward. 

Addiction is similar to other diseases, like heart disease. Disrupt the healthy functioning of an organ in the body, and have serious harmful effects in many cases, some are treatable and preventable. But If left untreated, it can lead to a lifetime and may cause death.
